The Recovery League
(Art by Everyday Heroes to spread the message of Hope and Empowerment.)
The Recovery League was a project designed to spread the message of empowerment among the 18-to-30-year-old demographic through the creation of a graphic novel/comic book. Working with young adults who had overcome adversity and who were interested in expressing themselves through drawing and storytelling, lead to the publication of The Recovery League graphic novel. Artists were paid a stipend for their contribution. Facebook Page
Funding for the Recovery League project was provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Resource Center to Promote Acceptance, Dignity and Social Inclusion Associated with Mental Health (SAMHSA ADS Center).
